Job Security For Engineers
Hi guys, I just came across a great little article that covers a few important points to do with mechanical engineering interview questions. The article covers the most common questions that will be asked at an interview, including which software you know and HOW WELL you are versed in that particular software. If you want to get that dream job, I'd highly recommend you check this article out - it won't take you more than 2 mins to read through it. It will definitely give you that edge you need over other applicants.
What else might you be asked? Your employer will want to try and figure out how well you work in team environments as well as which category of engineer you are: as in what you do best. Mechanical engineering is a very broad discipline after all. To find out what these questions are, click here...
Engineering salaries vary greatly, and it really depends on many factors: Which industries they are employed in, which part of the country they are located, number of years of experience, and possibly also the type of qualifications/degrees. Further studies also help push the salary threshold up.
I've posted a really helpful article on the average salaries of mechanical engineers on my blog, and I think you guys would find it rather helpful. It covers the base salary figures of fresh graduates, and it also talks about the growth of average wages over the past decade (it definitely seems to be an exponential type growth). There is also information on what you can do to help increase your current income regardless of which area of engineering you're working in currently. Read more here...
So how do you get into the field of engineering? What courses do you have to take? How much does it cost to get into engineering school? Here's a mid-length article that will give you a quick overview on what's required. Read more here..
